Modeling learning effects in neuropsychological tests Lead Investigator: Daniel Gillen Institution : University of California, Irvine E-Mail : dgillen@uci.edu Proposal ID : 962 Proposal Description: This project will develop mixed effects models to quantify the trajectory of patient scores on specific neuropsychological tests repeatedly performed on ADC patients. Marginal and individual-level trajectories will be estimated and stratified by patient diagnosis (Normal, MCI, Dementia). We hypothesize that tests within the standard battery will differ with respect to the learning effect (as defined by positive trajectory over time) among normal subjects, while MCI and Dementia diagnosed subjects will show consistent declines over time.
